DLSU will forever have a special place in my heart. It always gives me a nostalgic feeling every time I get a chance to work with fellow alumni. Mark and Kath met in one college event where they were paired up as partners. They believe that it was fate that brought them together. I personally admire this kind of love story because in spite of the pressures of work and the curiosity for adventure after school, this two were strong enough to keep the fire burning and still be together.
Mark and Kath’s prenup was shot in Boracay Shores early this year. I wanted this e-session to have a bright, fine and clean look like the fine powdery sand of Boracay where it is greatly known for. It was a challenge shooting this prenup since it was scorching hot and we started at a time where the sun is still harsh. I also had no assistant available at that time but good thing Mark and Kath were very much game for the shoot.
To be honest, I’m very O.C in terms of working on the look of my images. I don’t mind working on each of my photos on photoshop even though it takes a lot of my time. But after doing a lot of research online, Lightroom is definitely a best friend for most photographers. So why not try it? This is my very first successful attempt in using Adobe Lightroom and I think I’ll be using it more often from now on. I finished this set at less than half the time I spend by just using Photoshop. Sweet!
